Using Ordnance Suurvey maps, we have been able to map all the water features in the country.  This has been broken down to LO Region or county level as a guide for you to see what sites are present, and hopefully highlight those not counted. 

We realise that size is not a governing factor, but we have listed all sites with an area larger than 5 hectares.  Some sites made up of several small waterbodies such as gravel pits may have been omitted.

PLEASE NOTE:  Our highest priority is to find volunteers to cover existing WeBS sites before adding new sites from the lists below.
