Grey-tailed Tattler

Grey-tailed Tattler

Tringa brevipes

Introduction

An extremely rare visitor from eastern Asia. The first twitchable individual of this smart, yellow-legged shorebird (near Inverness in 1994) was notorious for the number of speeding tickets it generated as birders raced up the A9 to see it.
