Siberian Rubythroat

Introduction
A relative of the Nightingale, only the male Siberian Rubythroat has the jewel-like red throat that gives this species its name.
With a breeding range that extends from central to eastern Asia, this species winters in south-east Asia and the Philippines, and is an extremely rare visitor to Britain. Most of the handful of British records come from Shetland.
